Based in the heart of Vienna’s 15th district, Viktoria is a place for art, culture, exchange and experimentation, aiming to promote artistic research and social design in terms of an active participation in social life and a concrete engagement with transformation processes and current challenges of our society. Within the event format »Salon Viktoria«, Mycelial Space invites actors and interested people from different disciplines to share knowledge about fungi. The goal of the project is to learn from mushrooms and through mushrooms and to bring the currently widespread but often isolated initiatives into a productive exchange.
