After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Bioengineering from Sabanci University, Turkey, Dila Suay completed her master’s degree in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University, Netherlands. She then carried out her studies on cognition and cooperative behaviors in wild animals in the Kalahari Desert, South Africa. For her current Ph.D. studies at IMT School for Advanced Studies, Italy, in collaboration with the University of Zurich, she is investigating the effects of ayahuasca in creative and self-referential information processing.
