Pilz. Versuchslabor und Heilsversprechen
Fungi exist in great diversity, although it is estimated that over 90 percent of them are currently still unknown. What we see of them on the surface corresponds to only a few percent of their essence – the majority is invisible to our eyes. And this is where the fascination begins: the kingdom of organisms that interconnect above and below the surface is immense. Thus a cartography is formed that is constantly in motion and transformation. The more we learn about fungi, the more we realize how little we know about them, or how versatile their benefits are for a possible network-oriented as well as petroleum-free future.
An exhibition with Valentin Beck, Franca Franz, Isabel Fredeus, Patrik Mürner and Soektin Verslype.
